Digaf Microcredit Provider has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS) to facilitate access to affordable digital loan products for low- and medium-income individuals.
The institute focuses on providing financial solutions to middle and lower-income individuals through technological applications in the financial sector, including “Buy Now, Pay Later” financing and targeted loan products for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
1. Position: Trainee Loan Officer

Job Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Previous experience in microfinance or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Description:
As a Junior Loan Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Client Acquisition: Identifying potential clients through community outreach programs and referrals.
- Loan Processing: Collecting documentation, verifying income, creditworthiness, and processing loan applications.
- Client Counseling: Providing financial education and guidance, ensuring clients understand loan terms and conditions.
- Loan Portfolio Management: Monitoring loan repayments, identifying risks, and taking measures to mitigate them.
- Relationship Building: Developing strong relationships with clients and community members to foster trust.
