1. Position: Finance/HR Assistant

Salary: 40,001 – 50,000 ETB
Location: Nekemte

Main Purpose of the Position:

To execute administrative tasks and follow up on project accountancy in line with the instructions of the Administration Manager and MSF procedures, ensuring legal compliance and strict control over financial resources.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage administrative and legal tasks, ensuring accuracy in payroll and personal file updates.
Implement cash management procedures for security and availability of funds.
Prepare employment contracts in compliance with local labor and fiscal laws.
Maintain and update HR databases and personal files.
Handle Social Security and Tax office employee documentation.
Prepare and process monthly payrolls and pay slips.
Monitor rental contracts and ensure timely renewals.
Assist in treasury planning and payroll preparation.
Process payments to suppliers and ensure proper documentation.
Support the Administration Manager with accounting tasks and financial controls.
File and enter accounting documents into accounting software.
Provide administrative support, including translation and assistance in meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Administration-related fields.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with MSF or other NGOs.
Languages: Essential proficiency in English and Oromiffaa. Knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.
