Oromia Bank Vacancy Announcement


Organization Overview:
Oromia Bank, established on September 18, 2008, operates in accordance with Ethiopian banking laws and regulations. The bank’s branches have grown to over 300, with a paid-up capital of 3 billion Birr. Oromia Bank invites qualified applicants for the following positions:


Position 1: Manager – Architectural and Engineering Design Team

  • Educational Background and Skills:
  • MSc/BSc in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5 years of relevant experience for MSc holders and 7 years for BSc holders, including 2 years in a management role.
  • Place of Work: Head Office (Construction Projects Directorate)

Position 2: Corporate Business Customer

  • Educational Background and Skills:
  • MA/MBA/MSc/BA in Management, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 6 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
  • Place of Work: Head Office (Corporate Banking Directorate)

Position 3: Branch Manager I

  • Educational Background and Skills:
  • BA in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • 6 years of direct banking experience, managerial experience is preferable.
  • Place of Work:
  • Arbamich & Yirgalem Branches under Hawassa District
  • Tepi & Baro Branches under Jimma District
  • Emam Ahmed IFB Branch
  • Machara & Boroda Branches under Dire Dawa District
  • Babicha Branch under Nekemte District
  • Gobessa & Gololcha Branches under Adama District
  • Branches under Finfinne City Districts
