Dashen Bank is seeking qualified and competent applicants for the following position:

Position: Branch Manager I-IFB

Location: Dire Dawa
Vacancy Code: DB/ Vacancy-0331/24

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will oversee the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling of all banking activities at the branch level. They will ensure compliance with the Bank’s operating procedures, regulators’ directives, and country laws. In addition, the Branch Manager will spearhead sales and business development initiatives, promote customer service excellence, prepare and submit annual budgets, work plans, and progress reports, and engage in community activities to promote the Bank’s services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the branch’s overall operations.
• Ensure adherence to Bank policies and regulatory directives.
• Drive business development and sales initiatives.
• Promote superior customer service and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement annual budgets and work plans.
• Engage with the local business community to market the Bank’s services.

Skills and Educational Background:

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
