CUAMM has been operational in Ethiopia since 1980, with ongoing projects in Addis Ababa, Wolisso, Gambella, Jigjiga, Jinka, and Debre-Birhan.

Position: Area Admin and Finance Officer

• Location: Gambella
• Salary: 60,001 – 70,000 ETB/month
• Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

The Area Admin and Finance Officer will manage the Finance, HR, Procurement, and Logistics teams, supporting CUAMM’s area operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and donor guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Area Manager and the Country Admin in Addis Ababa.
• Planning and implementing administrative and financial procedures.
• Capacity building for all personnel, providing guidance on administrative processes.
• Maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Job Requirements

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a humanitarian aid organization (INGO).
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting and experience with Peachtree software.
  • Familiarity with AICS-Italian Cooperation financed projects is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Italian language proficiency is an asset.
