Job Description:
As a Junior or Senior Researcher/Consultant at ICOS Consulting, you will engage in various project phases including proposal development, fieldwork execution, data analysis, report writing, and stakeholder presentations. This position offers a dynamic work environment conducive to professional growth in consulting and research.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and write research proposals using valid scientific techniques.
- Consult on study design and project approach to meet client objectives.
- Develop experimental study designs and analytical methods.
- Design appropriate sampling techniques for different research types.
- Create research methodologies, data collection tools, and plans.
- Support the design and execution of advanced data analysis.
- Stay updated on the latest analytical techniques and share insights with the team and clients.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
- Master’s Degree (preferred): Research, Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, Public Health, or related fields.
- CGPA of 3.6 or above (undergraduate and graduate levels) from an accredited university.
- Bachelor’s Degree holders with exceptional academic performance may apply:
- CGPA of 3.8 or above.
Required Skills:
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams.
- Statistical and mathematical proficiency, including experience with statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in one or more statistical software programs and MS Office.
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and possess a strong analytical mindset.
- Good time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for problem-solving, innovative thinking, and group brainstorming.
