Position: Partnership Coordinator (Re-advertised)

Salary: USD 1,641 (paid in ETB per the exchange rate of the month)
Role Purpose
The Partnership Coordinator will play a critical role in establishing collaborative partnerships across the Concern Worldwide country program. The role requires a focus on partnership development, policy compliance, capacity building, and engagement with local actors in Ethiopia. The coordinator will report to the Programme Quality Director, working closely with the country team and partner organizations to promote Concern’s Partnership Policy and values.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Effective Partnerships
- Build and maintain a network of strategic partners, including CSOs, INGOs, government, and UN networks.
- Integrate partnership principles into new program development and support partner-led initiatives.
- Advocate for donor approaches responsive to local actors and promote a culture of shared accountability and transparency.
- Document learning from Ethiopia’s partnerships and share with Concern Worldwide’s global team.
Partnership Management
- Ensure partners meet compliance requirements in procurement, reporting, and program timeframes.
- Provide technical and capacity-building support, organize workshops, and enhance partner visibility.
- Coordinate with MEAL Coordinator and others to evaluate and document project impact and learning.
Partner Support & Capacity Sharing
- Offer technical assistance to partners in humanitarian standards, accountability, and safeguarding.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing events and exchanges among partners.
Staff Performance, Learning & Development
- Recruit and manage partnership team members, providing professional development and performance feedback.
- Implement management strategies to build the capacity of field staff.
Representation & Additional Duties
- Represent Concern at external forums, fulfill emergency response roles as required, and promote gender equality and safeguarding principles.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Project/Program Management, Compliance, Governance, or related fields.
- Experience: 5-7 years relevant experience, with 3+ years in management or advisory roles.
- Skills: Strong program management, partnership development, donor relations, and team leadership skills.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
