Position: Health & Nutrition Assistant
Location: Axum, Hargele, Filtu, Woldia, Sekota

Key Responsibilities
- Health & Nutrition Programs:
- Implement IMNCI/BEmONC and CMAM protocols at SC/OTP/health facilities.
- Provide technical support for PHC, OTP/SC, and IYCF quality implementation.
- Monitor supplies, including RUTF and drugs for OTP/SC.
- Organize and conduct IMNCI/RH and OTP/IYCF training.
- Community Engagement:
- Conduct outreach and follow-up with community volunteers.
- Mentor and support Health Extension Workers (HEWs) in recording and reporting.
- Capacity Building:
- Participate in ENA/BCC application and health education training.
- Assist with on-the-job training for program integration with MoH partners.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reporting.
- Supervise the technical quality of OTP/SFP services and sanitation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Associate degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 0–2 years of field experience, preferably in humanitarian or NGO settings.
- Knowledge of IMNCI/RH and CMAM/OTP/SC guidelines.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of nutrition and health program management.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in hardship environments.
- Sensitivity to cultural and gender issues.
