Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, modify, recondition, and replace parts of brewing machinery.
- Design and Installation: Develop sketches and drawings for modifications and installations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled tasks to enhance reliability and reduce unplanned downtime of brewing and cellar machines.
- Proactive Actions: Identify and resolve potential machine failures to ensure machinery availability.
- Quality Assurance: Perform maintenance tasks with a professional approach to ensure smooth production operations.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor brewing and cellar machines, performing necessary adjustments.
- Support: Assist other brewing mechanics in maintenance duties.
- Performance Examination: Analyze equipment performance to detect malfunctions and inefficiencies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, materials used, and work duration.
Job Requirements
Education:
- TVET Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the beverage or manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, and maintenance practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
