Job Summary:

The Cashier Accountant will support the finance department by performing a variety of accounting tasks. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth in financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis under the guidance of experienced accounting professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Process payments and maintain records of all transactions.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash and receipts and update spreadsheets.
• Collect cheques from customers and ensure timely bank deposits.
• Handle petty cash and prepare cash receipts vouchers (CRV).
• Process staff claims, cash advances, and receipts.
• Maintain payment sequence and handle cheque-related transactions.
• Prepare withholding tax summaries and ensure compliance.
• Support vendor-related transactions and apply payment stamps.
• Undertake additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Education: BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years in accounting or finance, preferably in an entry-level role.
