Position: Junior Internal Auditor
Job Summary:
The Junior Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit Section Head and management to ensure a risk management system is in place, identifying and analyzing risks regularly. The role involves reporting major findings, providing recommendations, and monitoring compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing internal audit functions.
- Prepare audit plans in collaboration with the Section Head.
- Report findings and make recommendations to improve systems and procedures.
- Review and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial and management information for regional branches.
- Collaborate with management to identify and analyze risks in microfinance operations.
- Provide opinions on the institution’s internal control systems.
- Monitor compliance with client protection principles.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Internal Audit Services.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
- 0 years of experience (fresh graduates).
- Graduates only from 2016 E.C.
- Must pass the government exit exam.
- Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial records, and computer applications.
- Ability to work independently with high professional integrity.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
