Position: Production Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Production Team Leader will report to the Manufacturing Unit Manager and is responsible for leading the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in executing production plans. The role includes ensuring product quality, maintaining assets through autonomous maintenance tasks, and resolving production-related issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coach team members on operational and technical task execution.
• Communicate work practice deployment plans and ensure team buy-in.
• Ensure adherence to operational, quality, and process standards, as well as maintenance schedules.
• Oversee team members performing autonomous maintenance tasks and running repairs as per work instructions.
• Communicate team goals and regularly review them to maintain alignment.
• Provide coaching and support for team members to solve problems using techniques like 5Why and OPLs.
• Implement SIC mechanisms to monitor and minimize waste (e.g., mass balance).

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Nationality: Applicants must be Ethiopian nationals.
