Qualification Requirements:

1. Option 1:
   • Education: BSc degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized technical college or university.
   • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in HVAC maintenance.
2. Option 2:
   • Education: Diploma/Level IV in Electrical or Mechanical fields of study from a recognized technical college or university.
   • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in HVAC maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate, service, repair, and install HVAC equipment following Ethiopian Airlines policies and procedures.
• Monitor HVAC system performance and building environment using the energy management control system.
• Conduct effectiveness tests, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Repair, replace, or commission HVAC equipment and ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Maintain daily logs, service schedules, and respond promptly to service requests.
• Handle customer queries and perform emergency repairs efficiently.
• Proficiently read schematics, wiring, and maintenance manuals.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge:

• Advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
• HVAC preventive maintenance handling mechanisms.
• Workplace safety requirements.

Skills:

• Skilled in using common HVAC tools.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Abilities:

• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Solve problems and think critically.
• Work in confined spaces, after hours, weekends, and public holidays.
