The Corporation focuses on high-end construction projects such as high-rise commercial and residential buildings, real estate, infrastructure (roads, railways, and airports), and projects in the water and energy sectors. EEC aims to fill gaps in Ethiopia’s construction industry, reduce dependence on international companies, and lead in delivering government mega-scale projects.

1. Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Vacancy Code: QA/QC 003/2024
Position Overview:
Responsible for executing QA/QC activities of the project from initiation to closeout while adhering to schedules, specifications, and drawings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or CoTM.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building structure and finishing works.
• Experience as a site engineer in a construction company is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Fluency in English and Amharic.
• Leadership qualities with integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.

Location: Debre Birhan or other project sites as required.

2. Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Vacancy Code: QAQC 004/2024
Position Overview:
Oversee QA/QC activities from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to project schedules, specifications, and drawings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in construction.

Skills:

• Technical knowledge in construction activities, tests, and management systems.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and reporting skills.
• Troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to work during nights and weekends.
• Ability to supervise and coach teams effectively under pressure.

Location: Anywhere in Ethiopia.
