1. Shift Brewing Manager

Job Summary:
The Shift Brewing Manager will oversee and coordinate brewing resources, including people, ingredients, and machinery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare brewing ingredients.
  • Monitor brewing, fermentation, and filtration processes; adjust equipment as needed.
  • Respond to deviations promptly and supervise team tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment and utensils to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct and oversee standardized tests on beer/wort, focusing on factors like gravity and pH.
  • Organize and manage brewing materials.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective brewing processes.
  • Optimize and simplify brewing operations.
  • Participate in commissioning activities.
  • Identify high-performing staff for rewards and provide coaching for underperformers.
  • Ensure adequate shift staffing and availability of data recording templates.
  • Supervise accurate data recording and maintain records.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Sc. in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: 4 years in the brewing industry or 2 years in BHSC’s Management Trainee Program.

2. Brew House Operator

Job Summary:
The Brew House Operator will execute and monitor the brewing process, ensuring quality and efficiency, while maintaining accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct standardized tests on beer/wort to ensure quality compliance (e.g., gravity and pH).
  • Operate brewing equipment, software, and hardware as per SOPs.
  • Communicate process issues promptly to the Shift Brewing Manager.
  • Prepare brewing ingredients and organize materials.
  • Maintain safety and efficiency in brewing operations.
  • Record and cross-check production data for accuracy.
  • Optimize and simplify process operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Sc. in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in the brewing industry (mandatory).
