Organization Overview:
Oromia Bank (OB) was established in accordance with the Ethiopian Monetary and Banking Proclamation No. 83/1994 and Licensing and Supervision of Banking Proclamation No. 592/2008. Operational since October 25, 2008, with its first branch at Dembel City Center (Bole Branch), the Bank has expanded to over 300 branches and grown its paid-up capital to Birr 3 Billion.
Available Positions
1. Administrative Assistant
- Purpose:
Provide administrative support to the Director, coordinate activities, handle schedules, gather data, and maintain records. The role requires professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills. - Education & Experience:
- Diploma/Level IV in Secretarial Science and Office Management or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Location: Addis Ababa
2. Senior Legal Compliance Officer
- Purpose:
Offer compliance guidance on AML & CFT alerts, manage regulatory compliance, and assist in the implementation of AML/KYC policies and other relevant legal matters. - Education & Experience:
- LLM/MBA/LLB/BA in Law, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Location: Addis Ababa
3. IT Risk Management Officer
- Purpose:
Coordinate and implement IT Risk Management activities in alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives. - Education & Experience:
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Location: Addis Ababa
4. System Audit Officer
- Purpose:
Conduct IT systems audits, provide advisory services, and oversee risk-based audit plans to ensure the Bank’s information systems are effective and compliant. - Education & Experience:
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Location: Addis Ababa
5. Senior Data Analyst
- Purpose:
Participate in the Bank’s database management and MIS processes by planning, organizing, and overseeing data management systems. - Education & Experience:
- MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Location: Addis Ababa
