About Wegagen Bank

Established in November 1996, Wegagen Bank S.C. emerged from the visionary mindset of sixteen founding members who recognized the pivotal role financial institutions play in fostering sustained economic development.

The Bank began operations with an initial paid-in capital of Birr 30 million and its head office located in Gofa Sefer, Addis Ababa. In October 2017, Wegagen Bank relocated to its iconic 23-storey Headquarters Building, situated in front of Addis Ababa Stadium on Ras Mekonnen Street.

1. Branch Banking Auditor-I (NS)

Purpose:
To ensure that the overall banking operation at the bank’s branches aligns with the Bank’s policies, procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, and to ensure the adequacy of the internal control system.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
Understanding of the banking sector and its operations.

Place of Work:

Hawassa District Office

Salary:

As per the Bank’s salary scale and attractive benefits.

2. Senior HR Business Partner (NS)

Purpose:
To handle various HR activities for the district offices and branches within the respective district domains, ensuring the retention of highly competent and qualified individuals in alignment with the Bank’s human capital strategy, policies, and procedures.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.

Jimma District Office
