Job Position: Collateral Valuator

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure collected information such as photographs, videos, and data of collateral properties is valid.
- Review ownership rights and ensure compliance with property valuation analysis, including site-specific information, location, and market considerations.
- Apply the agreed valuation approach and undertake market research to update the Bank’s property valuation manual.
- Design branch layouts and prepare bills of quantities and specifications.
- Supervise civil engineering design works and ensure execution aligns with specifications.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and justify valuations to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to defined culture and demonstrate appropriate behavior to meet district performance expectations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualification, Work Experience, and Competencies
- Education: BA/BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience: At least 3 years as a Collateral Valuator or Asset Valuator in the Financial or Construction sector.
Required Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of valuation principles, methods, and standards for various asset classes, including real estate, equipment, and vehicles.
- Analytical skills to assess market trends, local economic factors, and industry benchmarks.
- Familiarity with risk assessment techniques for asset depreciation, market volatility, and legal encumbrances.
- Proficiency in valuation tools such as AutoCAD, GIS systems, and other specialized software.
- Ability to prepare detailed valuation reports and communicate findings effectively.
- Adherence to ethical standards in managing sensitive data and ensuring compliance.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams.
