Position: Cost and Budget Control Manager
Purpose of the Job:
To enable efficient and effective business decision-making by providing accurate financial information, business insights, analytics, and performance evaluations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior leadership for sound business decisions.
- Analyze competitors, market trends, and develop financial risk management mechanisms.
- Interpret and analyze monthly performance information, identify cost variances, and prepare mitigation plans.
- Evaluate the financial implications of major business decisions and proposals.
- Recommend financial controls and identify potential cost savings.
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plans.
- Analyze cost information for budget preparation and expenditure control.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for capital expenditures.
- Analyze cost trends and propose improvement measures.
- Support and coach Senior Cost & Budget Accountants.
- Prepare periodic performance reports and submit them to the supervisor.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- BA/MA in Cost Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or related fields.
Experience:
- BA Degree Holders: 14 years of relevant work experience, including 4 years in a managerial position.
- MA Degree Holders: 12 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years in a managerial position.
Advantages:
