1. Finance and Administrative Officer (FAO)

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline with a strong foundation in financial management.

Experience:

Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience at the national level in financial management, accounting, administrative support, and contract management.
Proficiency in project and financial management tools.
Experience in overseeing financial management and reporting for implementing partners.
Solid understanding of financial management and accounting systems.

Languages:

Excellent proficiency in English.
Working knowledge of Amharic is required, while knowledge of French is advantageous.

Competencies:

Familiarity with organizational financial, administrative, and human resource policies and procedures.
Understanding of national and local regulations related to financial management.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Effective communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in office software and financial systems.
Leadership and supervisory skills.
Commitment to ethical conduct, honesty, and integrity.

2. Programme Officer

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Experience:

At least two years of experience in programme and project planning, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation.

Languages:

Fluent in English with working knowledge of Amharic.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies:

Strong understanding of programming and results-based management (RBM) principles.
Knowledge of the programming cycle, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
Experience in resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong drafting and communication abilities.
Effective time management and multitasking skills.

Alternative Qualifications:

Candidates without a university degree may qualify based on the following:
- Completion of secondary education plus six years of relevant experience.
- Completion of secondary education with a post-secondary diploma/certificate and four years of relevant experience.
