1. Construction Engineer
Job Requirements:
Education:
- First university degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction project monitoring, site supervision, quality assurance, or related technical fields.
- Experience with reviewing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) designs and supervising MEP installations is an asset.
- Understanding of development and humanitarian work.
- Emergency experience is an advantage.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language or local language is an asset.
Desirables:
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergencies.

2. Administrative Assistant
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Completion of secondary education (preferably supplemented by technical or university courses).
- A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s) in a related field will be considered in lieu of 2 years of work experience.
- An advanced university degree (Master’s) in a related field with no experience will also be considered.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of integrated management information systems.
- Ability to deal patiently and tactfully with visitors.
- High sense of confidentiality, initiative, and good judgment.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian) or local languages (Oromiffa, Amharic) is an asset.
Desirables:
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergencies.
