1. Compliant Help Desk Facilitator

Place of Work: Mehal Saint Woreda, South Wollo Zone
Contract Duration: Until June 30, 2025

Job Summary:

The Compliant Help Desk Facilitator will ensure the proper planning and implementation of all WFP activities in line with the Complaint Feedback Mechanism (CFM) minimum standards. The role involves working closely with program teams, commodity staff, and stakeholders to receive, manage, and respond to complaints while creating awareness among project participants regarding their entitlements, targeting criteria, and distribution timelines.

Major Responsibilities:

• Establish proper feedback mechanism platforms at Food Distribution Points (FDP)
• Lead and build the capacity of Community Help Desk (CHD) committees
• Create awareness for project participants on food assistance, roles, and responsibilities
• Compile and report findings using both digital and paper-based systems within reporting timelines
• Maintain smooth relationships with woreda and kebele stakeholders for program planning and implementation
• Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior while serving the community

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: BA/BSc Degree in Agricultural Economics, Disaster Management, Rural Development, Economics, Development Studies, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in relief or emergency response program implementation

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in integrated project design, implementation, and monitoring
• Familiarity with major donor programs (WFP, USAID)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing and negotiation
• Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
