Job Summary:

The Operator is responsible for assisting in the safe operation and maintenance of machinery and production lines in assigned process areas. This includes configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and minimizing downtime to ensure products meet quality standards and quantity targets according to schedule.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  • Minimum TVET Level 3/4 or Diploma with CoC certification in:
    • Manufacturing Technology
    • Industrial Mechanics
    • Industrial Electricity
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Electronics Engineering
    • Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
    • Food Science
• Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing environment.

2. Mechanic

Job Summary:

The Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment and instruments. The role includes monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, installing, operating, and testing electromechanical and electro-pneumatic equipment in support of machine operations.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  • Minimum TVET Level 3/4, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree with CoC certification in:
    • Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • General Mechanics
    • Industrial/Manufacturing Technology
    • Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience:
  • 5 years (for TVET Level 3)
  • 3 years (for TVET Level 4/Diploma)
  • 1 year (for Bachelor’s Degree) in an FMCG factory or industrial setting as a Welder.
