Position: Parts Manager – McCormick Agricultural Machinery
Job Summary:
Kerchanshe Trading Company is seeking a seasoned and proactive Parts Manager to oversee the spare parts department for McCormick Agricultural Machinery. The successful candidate will manage inventory, procurement, and parts availability, while leading and mentoring the sales team. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of agricultural machinery, strong leadership, and inventory management expertise.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the parts sales team
- Set sales targets and foster a performance-driven culture
Market Research & Analysis
- Analyze customer preferences and competitor strategies
- Monitor industry trends to refine sales tactics
Sales Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Take full ownership of department performance and KPIs
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales team members
- Provide continuous professional development and training
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with customers and partners
- Deliver tailored solutions and close sales effectively
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and operations teams
- Align sales efforts with inventory and promotional strategies
Inventory & Order Management
- Oversee procurement and inventory processes
- Ensure availability and timely delivery of spare parts
Industry Networking
- Represent McCormick at trade shows and industry events
- Cultivate partnerships to grow market presence
Reporting & Feedback
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports
- Analyze customer feedback to enhance strategy and service
Job Requirements
Education:
- BA or MA in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in agricultural machinery sales or similar industry
- At least 2 years in a managerial role
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management
- Advanced knowledge of agricultural machinery and parts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in inventory and logistics coordination
