Position: Branch Manager II

1. Chilalo, Robe Dede’a, and Shirka Branches

Educational Requirements:

  • BA or MA/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience.
  • At least two years in managerial or supervisory roles, such as:
    • Branch Manager I
    • Manager-Operations Management
    • Business Operations Support Manager
    • Customer Service Manager
    • Customer Relationship Manager
    • Manager-Service Marketing and Digital Banking

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of retail banking products such as savings, loans, mortgages, credit cards, insurance, and wealth management.
  • Expertise in risk management, including credit, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Understanding of banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools for tracking and optimizing customer service.
  • Skills in sales strategy development, target setting, and staff mentoring.
  • Familiarity with branch operations, including cash handling, ATM operations, and vault management.
  • Strong team management, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

2. Gera, Hosanna, Baroda, Dello Mena, Ginnir, and Meda Walabu Branches

Educational Requirements:

  • BA or MA/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • At least 7 years of relevant banking experience.
  • A minimum of two years in managerial or supervisory positions, including:
    • Branch Manager I
    • Manager-Operations Management
    • Business Operations Support Manager
    • Customer Service Manager
    • Customer Relationship Manager
    • Manager-Service Marketing and Digital Banking

Key Competencies:

  • Comprehensive understanding of retail banking products.
  • Proficiency in risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with banking laws and regulations, including AML and KYC standards.
  • Expertise in CRM systems and customer relationship optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead sales strategies and mentor teams effectively.
  • Experience in branch operations, security measures, and process management.
